Healthcare communications agency, Open Health, operate several different departments from their London base. A complete refurbishment was required to create a refreshed and modern workspace.
The unique make-up of the project delivery lent itself to our flexible approach. We were to collaborate with the client’s internal designers whilst working alongside external contractors and trades. Additionally, all work was to be completed with the agency running as normal.
Our close client working relationship saw a period of ongoing conversations and developments as the space visualisations and plans were created. When final works were approved, our first task was to manage relocating staff to keep operational disruption to a minimum. In cleared areas mobile hoarding was setup and a systematic strip-back undertaken.
The extensive installation included a fully-fitted kitchen, glazed meeting rooms, reception area and furniture, open plan main office area with bespoke storewall.
A key feature of the design were the meeting booths. Each required building, table/seating construction with upholstering. Mixing the fabric colours provided pops of colour around the open plan areas.
A full redecoration and finishing graphics, including bespoke graduated manifestations to glazed partitions and digitally printed wall coverings to create a feature wall in the reception, completed the refurbishment. All client teams were reinstated and setup in the new space.
The final result is superb. A contemporary office that harmonises contrasting styles in a high-spec finish.
